Description The Imperial Council Hall (Kubbealtı / Divan-ı Hümâyûn) where the veziers met in council with the sultan. The fountain in the middle was to obscure secret conversations. The golden window enabled the sultan or the valide sultan to eavesdrop into the conversation without being noticed.
