Description
Español: Unas cuantas imágenes de prácticamente el último resto que se mantiene de los Baños árabes situados justo a la entrada de Palomares llegando desde Mairena del Aljarafe. Los cimientos de este edificio fueron hallados en 1995, pero hasta el año 2000 no comenzaron las excavaciones y el trabajo para restaurarlo. En 2002 dichas excavaciones fueron dadas por concluidas (se data la obra cerca del siglo XII o XIII), limitando el recinto correspondiente con el yacimiento con una cerca . Fueron llevadas a cabo principalmente por la Junta de Andalucía, por ello se la considera patrimonio propio de la misma.
English: Just a few images of the remians of the Arab Baths, which are located just at the entrance of the town Palomares if you are heading from Mairena del Aljarafe, one of the adjacent towns. The foundations of this structure were found in 1995, but it wasn't until 2000 that the excavations begun. These were finished by 2002 (the builidng is dated around the 12th or 13th century). The respective area that belonged to the ancient builidng was bounded by a fence. The excavations were headed by the Junta de Andalucía, which is the regional political and economical administration of Andalusia, therefore, the ruins were declared regonal heritage (in this case, Andalusian).
