Description Ten years ago, I embarked on a voyage on a cargo ship from Port Talbot in South Wales to (eventually) Thunder Bay in Canada. After a few days at anchor off Ijmuiden we made our way into port early on the Wednesday morning five days after leaving Port Talbot. The tugboat can be seen making it's way out to guide us in. At right can be seen a line of beach huts - Ijmuiden is a nice mix of holiday resort and industry - the chimneys of industry can also be seen.
