Description

La iglesia de San Bartoloméu tiene un interesante pasado como sede episcopal, ya que al ser destruida la catedral de Tui en el año 1000 tuvo que asumir las funciones de ésta de manera temporal. El edificio ha sufrido numerosas reformas, y de hecho parece que solamente su cabecera mantiene su fábrica original. Tiene una planta de tres naves, que remata en una cabecera de triple ábside, siendo semicircular el central y rectangulares los laterales.

Al interior el espacio se divide por medio de pilares de núcleo rectangular, con columnas adosadas.
