Description

I dagene 1., 2. og 3. august 1944 arrangertes i Stockholm krigsmesterskapet i svømning, fotball og friidrett. Bildet er fra festen i Blå Hallen i Stadshuset om kvelden 3. August, hvor særlig H.M. Kongen ble hjertelig hyldet. London 8.9.44.

Idrett», fotografier valgt ut fra «NTBs krigsarkiv - bilder av nordmenn i Sverige under 2. verdenskrig»: Idrett ble raskt et satsningsområde for flyktningeadministrasjonen. Ved legasjonen i Stockholm var det eget idrettskontor som administrerte og samordnet flyktningeidretten omkring i Sverige.
