Description

Ideon Gateway - det 19 våningar höga färgskimrande nya höghuset i Ideon Science Park, fotograferat 15 januari 2013. Ideon Gateway invigs den 17 januari 2013. Diskussionerna om huset går tillbaka till 2004 då man pratade om Innovationernas hus på en annan plats på Ideonområdet och med en lägre och längre byggnadskropp. Ideon Gateway ägs av Ikano Fastigheter som äger cirka 60 procent av byggnaderna i forskarbyn Ideon (resten ägs av fastighetsbolaget Wihlborgs). När Ideon grundades 1983 var det slutligen Ikeas grundare Ingvar Kamprad som gjorde det möjligt genom att investera 109 mio. SEK i Ideons första byggnad. Allt sedan dess har familjen Kamprad varit med om att bygga ut Ideon genom fastighetsbolaget Ikano Fastigheter som ägs av familjen Kamprad.
