Description

Transcribed from photograph: "Fishing. Ice fishing by Chief Isaacs. ca. 1905." Chief Isaacs was head of the Klondike band of the Han Indians. According to a description of the same photo in the University of Washington's digital collections, "Chief Isaacs of the Moosehide tribe. Angling through a hole in the ice. Moosehide Creek and village were a short distance downstream from Dawson."
