English: The Musician (Der Musikant), a colourful sculpture by Otmar Alt, at the small square in front of the Culture House Alte Sparkasse, 28 East Street (Oststraße 28) in Ibbenbüren, Kreis Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
Deutsch: Der Musikant, eine farbenfrohe Skulptur von Otmar Alt, auf dem 2020/2021 neu gestalteten Vorplatz des Kulturhauses Alte Sparkasse, Oststraße 28 in Ibbenbüren, Kreis Steinfurt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Das Kunstwerk ist am 7. Mai 2021 aufgestellt worden; damit waren die Umgestaltungsarbeiten des Vorplatzes abgeschlossen. 2020 hatte der Rat der Stadt Ibbenbüren auf Initiative des Kunstvereins Ibbenbüren beschlossen, die beinahe lebensgroße Skulptur anzukaufen, um damit „dem Vorplatz des Kulturhauses einen harmonisch-kontrastierenden optischen Akzent zu verleihen“. |
