One of just two suspended lakes on top of a mountain on the planet. It is arranged in Ado Awaiye Iseyin, Oyó state, Nigeria.

The lake is accepted to be unlimited and nobody enters it and makes due.

History has it that underneath the lake lies a different universe, an equal presence managed over by a goddess of ripeness who lives inside the lake.

That's what it's supposed assuming one places their foot in the opening close to the lake known as Agbómofúnyàké (Yoruba for "gathers kid and provides for iyake") when it's loaded up with water, the individual will be hauled to the base.

The Set of experiences behind it is fascinating.

Its name, Iyake, signifies "lady cry."

It is said by local people that, a fruitless lady from Ota, Ogun State, moved to Oyó during the old Oyó Domain. She was cherished by a larger number of people yet her fruitlessness was taunted by a portion of local people. Since she was unable to deal with the joke, she ended it all by falling into the lake. Consequently the name 'Iyake lake'.

From that point forward, as per sources, the lake was accepted to fix desolateness since the said lady fell and passed on inside it.

Additionally, local people in that space trusted that assuming you supplicate with the water from the lake, wash with it or drink it you won't be fruitless; it will fix your desolateness assuming you are lady who is barren.
