Description
English: NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson removes the Multi-Purpose Experiment Platform (MPEP) from inside the Kibo airlock aboard the International Space Station. The airlock is used to deploy a number of scientific payloads from inside the station out into the vacuum of space.
