Description
English: Spacewalking astronauts installed a pair of high-definition cameras on external camera ports of the International Space Station in Sept. 2016. The cameras, specially configured DSLRs in protective housings, are capable of giving flight controllers new HD streaming views of the external station structure and the Earth below. The cameras can also be reconfigured to take high-res imagery, seen here, for additional engineering analysis or monitoring of the Earth below.
