Description
English: One of the Expedition 40 crew members aboard the Earth-orbiting International Space Station recorded this panorama of part of Europe on June 22, 2014. Italy's long coastlines (of the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Seas) all the way down to the "Boot" dominate the scene. Parts of the Mediterranean and Ionian Seas are also visible.
