Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Kabul, Afghanistan - Today, members of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) celebrated St. Patrick’s Day, the Irish National Day, with the Chief of Staff of the Irish Defense Forces and members of the Irish Contingent. St. Patrick’s Day is internationally renowned as an opportunity for Irishmen worldwide and descendants of Ireland, as well as all cultures and ethnicities to take part in the history of a nation, whose legacy of determination and fellowship was reflected today, as ISAF colleagues came together. Leaders recognized St. Patrick as a symbol of unity here. (Photo by Staff Sgt. Bruce Cobbeldick, HQ ISAF Public Affairs)
