Description
Deutsch: Am unteren Ortsrand von Pikolein, der auffällige Bau ist schon am Anfang des 16. Jahrhunderts durch dem Bischof von Brixen als Wohnsitz für den Leiter seiner Eisenschmelzen und Schmieden gebaut worden. Nach dem Ende der Eisenproduktion 1755 wurde das Gebäude Sitz der fürstbischöflichen Forstverwaltung, die bis zur Säkularisierung der geistlichen Fürstentümer 1803 bestand. Danach wurde es als Wohnhaus verkauft.
