Summary
[edit]DescriptionHumboldt Bay Nuclear Power Plant as seen from Humboldt Hill.JPG |
English: One of the early boiling water reactors. Supposedly this plant had lost some fuel rods, but all have been accounted for and verified removed.
The picture above shows units 1 & 2 (Non Nuclear) covered with plastic sheeting. These units are being dismantled and the sheeting prevents any release of potentially harmful materials - protecting the local public. |
