English: Composite photograph showing the position that a person on the steps of the Sumitomo Bank in Hiroshima, Japan, would have been in to create the flash "shadow" when the atomic bomb detonated nearby on August 6, 1945. Created by the United States military as part of their study of the "flash burn and shadow" phenomena in Hiroshima during the spring 1946, with an unnamed Japanese male posing as part of the investigation.
