Description Chicago & North Western RR "D" Class 4-4-2 No.1015, built by ALCO 1900, at the National Museum of Transport St Louis, 8/70. 91 "D's" were built 1900-08 and were one of the earliest designs with piston valves and Walschaerts valve gear, although 10 built in 1908 had Young rotary valves.
