Español: Los agricultores urbanos tienen una iniciativa en común, recuperar espacios descuidados en las zonas altas y aledañas a la capital. Colectivamente, han incentivado una de las actividades de sustento tradicionales más antigua de la vida, la agricultura, logrando la siembra de alimentos en suelos que se suponían eran infértiles. Las comunidades de vecinos han buscado acceder a zonas verdes y espacios públicos seguros e inclusivos y a través de la agricultura urbana, han liderado la transformación a espacios más dignos, buscando una mejor calidad de vida y mejorar la alimentación. Motivados a partir de aprendizajes colectivos de generaciones familiares, ahora promueven la economía local, la soberanía alimentaria y la resiliencia comunitaria, donde afloran vínculos de solidaridad y reciprocidad entre vecinos y vecinas, que resisten ante la crisis económica, climática y alimentaria, en la búsqueda del Buen vivir. Así, los Huertos urbanos, son un acto colectivo de resistencia ante el olvido del Estado y las desigualdades económica, ecológica y social. |
