Summary

[edit]
Description
English: As seen in May 2020, the lovely brick cottage at 29 Wohlers Avenue in Buffalo, New York is exemplary of the Italianate style, though the asymmetricality of the porch and the ornamentation on its woodwork suggest a slight Queen Anne influence. The house was built in the 1880s (Wohlers Avenue itself had yet to be built as of the 1880 Beers Atlas of Erie County, while both house and street are shown on the 1889 Sanborn map of Buffalo).
