Description

Identifier:SFFf-1995033.268559.

Description: Hotel Mindresunde by the Strynevatnet lake was built in the 1880s. In 1920 the hotel was turned into an agricultural school. In 1951 the school moved to a different location, and the former hotel/school building was demolished. Today there is a camping ground at Mindresunde.

thousands of glass plate negatives were badly stored uptil the 1980`s.
Only 23 negatives survived the years of poor storage and successive demolitions.
The poor storage conditions have left the plates damaged by water and mold attacks.
