Hotel Adlon Berlin postcard sent to Nottingham 102 Leslie road [perhaps student accommodation] 8 July 1937 Unter den Linden 1. by "Marlies Kloessing" a widow of Krausnickstr 24 [perhaps she worked at the hotel?] to Douglas Vincent Waddams, later Leading Aircraftman of the RAF Volunteer Reserve who died in in South Africa [cause unknown] 19 May 1943 Age 27 STANDERTON CEMETERY Grave 1401.
