[edit]DescriptionHorseshoe Crab at Smyrna Dunes Park - Flickr - Andrea Westmoreland.jpg |
I was so excited to see this crab at waters edge and was shooting away. I braved up to see if I could pick him up for a peek at his other side. Then I realized he was dead. I could pull the top of the shell from the bottom enough to look inside and it as empty. :( Alas. I just raed some info about the horseshoe crab and it appears I may have found it's cast off shell after it molted so perhaps it is yet alive somewhere :) www.ceoe.udel.edu/horseshoecrab/history/biology.html |
