Summary

[edit]
Description A pair of preserved 19th Century Italianate-style buildings stand on Hopkins Street in the Betts-Longworth Historic District, which is a preserved surviving fragment of the old West End. These buildings survived the urban renewal and urban decay of the surrounding neighborhood, and have been restored and turned into highly desirable apartments that are in close proximity to Over-the-Rhine's cultural facilities and Downtown Cincinnati. The neighboring buildings that once existed weren't as lucky, and today are the site of car-centric infrastructure and the Queen City Vocational Center.
