Description
Español: Homenaje a las faeneras, estela conmemorativa sobre el pavimento de la plaza Poeta Alfonso Canales, en Málaga, España. La inscripción dice: «El día 8 de enero de 1918, cerca de un millar / de mujeres faeneras de Málaga / se manifestaron / por la subida del pan / y / la carestía de la vida, algo / que afectaba muy directamente / la vida de las familias obreras. / Sirva esta placa / como homenaje y recordatorio, / para que la ciudadanía malagueña / nunca olvide el coraje, y dignidad / de aquellas mujeres. / Consejo Sectorial de las Mujeres / Área de Igualdad de Oportunidades / Ayuntamiento de Málaga». La placa se inauguró el 9 de enero de 2018.[1]
