Description Monumental memorial tablet of 1866, dedicated to Reverend Canon Joshua Fawcett MA (1807-1864). He was vicar of Holy Trinity, Low Moor, previously known as Wibsey Chapel. The memorial hangs in the north aisle of the church. It was designed by architects Mallinson & Healey, and executed by architectural sculptors Mawer & Ingle of Leeds. Showing hidden siren (type of salamander with two limbs) stealing fruit. The sirens are not visible from ground level. Alternatively, it could be a w:lindworm.
