Summary
[edit]DescriptionHoly Trinity Louth.jpg |
Showing a processional cross, the only item surviving from the ruins of Holy Trinity Church, Louth, Lincolnshire, when its nave burnt down in 1991. It was leaning against the wall as demonstrated in the picture during the fire, and the heat softened the brass so that the cross bent a little into the wall - it is still bent. The wooden staff was burnt away and has been replaced. It was photographed in the Trinity Centre, which replaced the nave. |
