Description

Saturday - the road is usually quieter than this.

The A535 ends its short journey from Chelford here in Holmes Chapel at this mini roundabout on the A50, having passed Jodrell Bank and the hamlet of Twemlow.

Until the Alderley bypass was built, the A535 used to carry on to Alderley Edge to what was the A34 - now the A535 has been cropped back to the Chelford roundabout on the A537 with the remainder of the road downgraded to a B-road for its journey to Alderley Edge, where the former A34 has been similarly downgraded through the Alderleys.
