Summary

[edit]
Description
English: As lions sleep some 16 hours a day, there is some verisimilitude to Hok San lion dance performances, as the lions invariably lie down to digest the oranges, or whatever greens they had ingested. During this time, the lion head and tail dancers work together to process the fruits/vegetables into some symbolic artwork bearing an auspicious meaning for display immediately after the lion stands up from this position of repose.
