Description
Deutsch: Ahornblättrige Platane (Platanus acerifolia) in Herbstfärbung vor dem Rathaus im Hagener Stadtteil Hohenlimburg, Freiheitstraße Ecke Stennertstraße (B 7). Der Baum wurde Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts gepflanzt, hat eine Höhe von ca. 21,4 m und einen Stammumfang von ca. 5,60 m. – Die Platane wurde schon mehrfach als Naturdenkmal vorgeschlagen, dies unterblieb jedoch wegen (vermutlich streusalzbedingter) Vitalitätsschwäche und wiederholt erforderlicher, teils starker Entlastungsrückschnitte im Kronenbereich.
