Description
Svenska: ”Arbetets söner” sjöngs unisont vid kongressens öppnande, i förgrunden från vänster: Hjalmar Mehr, Sven Aspling, Lisbeth och Olof Palme, Sten Andersson och Essen Lindahl.
Ett Brantingcitat fick avsluta Tage Erlanders avskedstal när den socialdemokratiska partikongressen inleddes i Stockholms Konserthus på söndagen: —”Den demokratiska socialismen är en mot den sakernas ordning som dömer de ojämförligt flesta att stanna i växandet och kväva sina bästa strömningars längtan”, sade den avgående partiordföranden gripen och allvarlig.
