Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Dolby B/C proto board with the Hitachi HA12157 IC. It needs an external microcontroller to initialize and change modes, hence the outboard Arduino Leonardo (well, a Chinese knockoff), bottom left and an associated 7809 regularor, bottom right. The passive complement of the HA12157 is as per reference design, with 1% styrene caps (pale green blocks) and 1% metal film resistors. An Arduino also provides test audio signals (not wired here yet). The Dolby IC has pin spacing of 1.778 mm (which is exactly the square root of 2.54) - that's why it was mounted diagonally.
