English: Historical depiction of Guru Gobind Singh that was possibly commissioned in the late 17th or early 18th century (more likely the latter) by Mai Bhago that was found within a historical Sarabloh Granth manuscript.
Detailed description: "A painting of Guru Gobind Singh Ji based on the original present at Takht Sri Hazur Sahib by Bhai Sardool Singh and Bhai Saab Singh. The Bani of Sri Dasam Granth can be seen throughout the borders and even on the sheath of the sword depicted in the painting. Currently located at Bunga Pyare Bhai Dya Singh, Dharam Singh, Mai Bhago Ji, at Takht Sachkand Sri Hazur Sahib." (page 90 of 'Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji - Facts Beyond Doubt' by Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Academy, published 20 January 2021) A portrait of Guru Gobind Singh ‘armed with bow and arrow. It is believed that the original was painted during the Guru's lifetime and was once displayed ‘at the tokht in Patna. The verses adorning the borders are taken from the Guru's writings compiled in the Dasam Granth.
