Description
English: Entire blocks of neighbourhood have diasppeared as this land is prepped for the super highway.

WIndsor and Essex County are experiencing a major construction project as the 401 highway gets realigned on the outskirts of Windsor, and expanded to 6 lanes. The final phase of the 401, where the highway passes through the city, is being partially buried and tunnelled, and a new international bridge crossing to the USA is being built at the end of the new route.
