Description High Level Bridge Approach, Newcastle upon Tyne, in the late 19th century. Sculptors Robert Beall (1835–1892) and his son Robert Eusebius Beall (1860–1909) ran a monumental masonry and sculpture business in the southern arch, and possibly the northern arch, of this railway bridge. Note Beall's name painted n the arch of the bridge.
