| Description |
This is a portrait of a bird of prey (a hawk or a buzzard) that I could approach very close during a training session at the castle of la Hulpe (see map). The birds were waiting their turn to fly, while looking at the very few number of spectators that were there since nothing was announced and the weather was cold and snowy. The light was sideway and the background was dark and not lighted. I used spot metering and focused on the left eye. The lighting was adjusted as the contrast and the sharpness.
