Summary

[edit]
Description

English: Springtime on the “Heufeld”, middle Swabian Alb, seen from the top of the ]Kornbühl, which is a Butte. The plain Heufeld is completely cultivated by villagers of Ringingen (community of Burladingen). The plain, next to the northern cuesta, is the largest closed area of the so called “Schichtflächenalb”, the second lowest of 8 layers of the upper lithostratigraphic unit of the South German Jurassic (ox2). In the near back: a hill, called Brühl, behind it, the village Ringingen (Burladingen), on the right, faintly visible, the Killertal (valley of river Starzel) and the cuesta. Some of the fields are narrow and bordered by hedges. The slope in the foreground is a Juniper heath.
