Deutsch: 74[XI] Weihinschrift an Mercur und Rosmerta. Gef. 1840 auf dem Berge oberhalb Niederemmel, Distrikt Zumeth (Kr. Bernkastel).
Grauer Sandstein; es fehlt die l. untere Ecke, das übrige ist in 3 Teile gebrochen; 49 h., 62 br., 7 dick.
In h(onorem) d(omus) d(ivinae). Deo Mercurio et D(e)ae [R]osmertae Mer[curiali]s, Aug(usti) lib(ertus), [adiutor t]abula[riorum, v(otum)] s(olvit) l(ibens) m(erito). (Hettner, 1893)
Übersetzung:
Zur Ehre des göttlichen Hauses (d.h. der kaiserlichen Familie). Dem Gott Merkur und der Göttin Rosmerta Mercurialis leistete der Freigelassene des Augustus, der Gehilfe der Beamten, bereitwillig ein Gelübde.
