[edit]DescriptionHeterobasidion occidentale Otrosina & Garbel 236619.jpg |
Heterobasidion occidentale Otrosina & Garbel. Image location: Snow Peak, Lacomb, Oregon, USA On Douglas fir in old growth and second growth forest. Recognized by sight: Looks very much like old growth specimens of Heterobasidion occidentale I’ve found on the Olympic penninsula(on old growth Doug fir). Excellent images! Specimens in first image look massive. Note: the red/wavy ,lining along the growth ring of left specimen in image 1.
