Summary
[edit]DescriptionHenry Ames Farmhouse Inside West Addition.jpg |
English: The Henry Ames farmhouse was built by Henry Ames during 1888-1889 at the height of his career. The house is constructed of Litchfield brick; manufactured on site, and is the last surviving Meeker county residence of this area pioneer.
Large wood-frame additions were added to the rear, east and west sides of the farmhouse sometime during the late 1970's or early 1980's. This photo is taken inside the small west addition. Note the original exterior brick walls and windows. One window has been converted into a bookshelf.
