English: German Rear Adm. Henning Hoops (left), Commander, U.S. Navy Central Command/Commander, 5th Fleet Vice Adm. David Nichols, and British Royal Navy Commodore Tom Cunningham, participate in a change of command ceremony at U.S. Navy Central Command headquartered in Bahrain, Dec. 6. Hoops relieved Cunningham as Commander, Task Force 150 (CTF-150). CTF-150 is a multinational task force, consisting of eight ships from six coalition nations operating under the command of Nichols. CTF-150 is a key element of Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command/Commander, U.S. 5th Fleet’s contribution to the campaign against international terrorism.
