Description
Deutsch: Hektographiergerät aus der DDR. Jegliches Drucken in der DDR bedurfte einer staatlichen Genehmigung. Nur kirchliche Gemeinden durften diese Geräte für innerdienstliche Zwecke benutzen. Das benötigte Material, wie Matrizen, Farben etc. musste aus dem „Westen‟ besorgt werden. 1989 existierte in Leipzig ein illegal eingeführtes Gerät mit dem im Januar ein Flugblatt mit einer Auflage von 10.000 produziert wurde.
English: Hectographer from the GDR. Any printing in the GDR required government approval. Only church congregations were allowed to use these machines for internal purposes. The required materials, such as matrices, colors, etc., had to be obtained from the “West”. In January 1989, an illegally-imported device was used in Leipzig to produce a leaflet with a circulation of 10,000.
