English: Hedgerow trees, Thornton At the far side of an uneven field - unimproved pasture - is a hawthorn hedge that has become a row of trees. The Thornhill valley is in the distance, with Queensbury on top of the far ridge. The Thornton viaduct shows as a pale line in a gap between the trees. |
