Description

The photo was taken on late finals to runway 27 Left at Heathrow airport. You have to be prepared and quick to get such a shot. Travelling at about 150 mph you only have a fraction of a second before the shot is lost.

Here we see an Airbus 330-243 operated by South African Airways (ZS-SXX); two Airbus A380's of British Airways, G-XLEC and G-XLEF. On the other side of the airport another BA aircraft, a Boeing 777 is taxying towards 27 Right for takeoff.

The green "aircraft" is the steel training mock-up for the Airport Fire Service.
