Parsons what provisionhas been made for gratifying what Dr. Latta considersthe healthy roving instincts of boys? Miss Parsons.—The Boy Scout organization, withits hikes and camps, provides very successfully forthis instinct, as well as for many other perplexing in-stincts of boys between twelve and eighteen. Cross-country walking clubs are another means of supplyingboys with distance to cover. The Chicago PlaygroundAssociation has lately been carrying on interesting ex-periments with clubs of this sort.
