Description
English: The headward erosion continues despite the presence of the forest. The eucalyptus tree with its root in air has a near 40 centimeters diameter. The presence of lenticular beds of mud in the arenite, forces the underground water flows horizontally, increasing the erosion rate. From Casa Branca, Brazil. (pt): A boçoroca ṕrogride apesar da luxuriante vegetação. Os troncos dos eucaliptos ao fundo tem quase 40 cm de diâmetro. Notar sinais de tunelamento na parede da boçoroca. Neste local o emboçorocamento é potencializado pela presença de níveis lenticulares argilosos intercalados no arenito intemperizado. Estes interceptam a água subterrânea aumentando o fluxo lateral.
