Keith said put more pictures up - even if they're plane ones, so I'm putting more pictures up! You might remember from my 365 that we did a little trip to Anglesey in February. Whilst there we visited RAF Valley, the UK's centre for fast jet training. Whilst we were expecting the paranoia and 'do not approach' mentaliity that we see at civilian airports, Valley couldn't be more welcoming. Their approach is very much one of 'come along and enjoy the planes, be sensible, do as we ask, and if something goes wrong do as you're told'. You really can't argue with that. This is a Hawk trainer with a very friendly instructor aboard who waved at the spotting crowd, meagre though it was. Good lad. :) |
