Description
English: Portrait of Silver Horn (1860–1940), an important Kiowa Indian chief, warrior, and ledger artist. Silver Horn is considered one of the finest ledger artists in history and his drawings offer unaltered and accurate views of Kiowa culture and history. Painting by E.A Burbank. Burbank himself is responsible for many paintings of American Indians including famous chiefs.
