Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Haugh of Glass A haugh or laich is an area of flat land by a river, corresponding to Gaelic Innis, anglicised as Inch, or English watermeadow. This is a classic example. The white house is Parkhaugh. Somewhere in or near the water were three mallard drakes, all black apart from their iridescent green heads and necks.
