English: Pfc. Kysheria Harris, a parts clerk from Harrisburg, Pa., operates a forklift to help get parts to the correct maintenence crews at Camp Adder, Iraq. Most of her work day is spent ordering parts from a computer connected to a satallite system, but she will also help unload and sort parts as they arrive.She worked at the Amazon.com distribution center in Harrisburg before joining the service. The 21-year old single mother joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in 2008 and deployed almost immediately after completing basic training and job training. She left her two-year old daughter Marelene behind for her year-long mobilization and deployment.She hopes to work as a federal technician at Fort Indiantown Gap when she returns from deployment. |
