[edit]
Description

Taken on Bailey Island in Harpswell; this area is known as Will's Gut.

“Will” was the son of the original settler, Will Black, who arrived in the early 18th century. The younger Will filed a claim for the island in about 1730 and received title to what was then known as Will’s Island.
